A sad thing about the loss of popularity of the whole LJ format is that it's gotten a bit harder to discuss things with various different people unless you already know them and can invite them over to a chat and stuff.
It seems to be considered in bad form to reblog something on tumblr to disagree with what was posted. Even if you go the reply way, there's a limit in # of words, and the owner of the blog will still have to make a new entry to reply back. And that's also still essentially one-on-one.
Idk, whenever someone makes a really cool text entry on TRON or on what they want to see in STXII, I always wish it was on LJ/dreamwidth/wordpress.
It's a bummer.
