i don't need the socratic attitude
ahahahaha look at me, all alone intensely mourning a fictional character that died almost 20 years ago. in the insightful words of rosa diaz, my entire life is garbage!
picking up my new passport and claaaaaaire
sweeping the house and claaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaire
taking a shower and claaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiire
i never dreamed of being a dana scully when i was a kid, because wishing to be dana scully registered to me as not that much different from wishing to be a sailor senshi or the yellow power ranger.
but l&o was the first "realistic" show i watched and there was claaaaaire, a first glimpse of idealized pretend adult life for a young professional lady!!
i think jill hennessy was 24/25 when she got the part? and she was mostly acting opposite men 20+ years her seniors and wardrobe department stuck her into these extremely severe clothes that were at least one size too large and she was trying so damn hard all the time to blend in with the "big boys".
i still love her sfm omg :( her whole character background is perfect to me.
AND HENNESSY'S GOING TO BE ON THE NEXT EPISODE OF THE GOOD WIFE YEEEESSS. FIVE DAYS!! gosh, i hope she somehow has a scene with chris noth, l&o reunion!
& as of yesterday, i'm the proud owner of a claire kincaid watch. which is just an unremarkable ladies watch with a size 14mm black leather watchband. but i saw it and bought it with claire in mind. (now i notice the rim of hers is gold and mine's silver.)
it's an upgrade from my snoopy watch.
