i find this whole thing very funny.

* i’m aware it’s best not to over-think trash cw shows, but the more i read speculations on this wolf marriage ritual business between hayley and jackson, the more puzzled i get.
i couldn’t be more disinterested in the werewolves storyline if i tried and i’m not going to search the episode to type what jackson said about the ritual verbatim.
however, from what i remember, the only words used wrt the sine qua non conditions for the arrangement to suceed were “alphas”, “real” (which i assumed was code for vows of monogamy for life) and “consummated”. nobody used the word “love”, iirc?
i didn’t think that by “real” they meant “love”. because that’s just plain dumb. i mean, it’s dumb no matter how you cut it - why is everyone assuming that out of everything that being a hybrid entails, the wolves will get the ONE ability to turn without a ring? WHATEVER. idc about these characters. i digress.
ANYWAY, i assumed after reading the spoilers that the lie in the werewolf matriarch ritual would be about hayley having a living child whose father is technically ALSO an alpha. from another pack. not about hayley being ~in love with someone else.
* in all honesty, at this point i wish the show was about teen esther & teen dahlia: proto baba yagas. i have headcanons.
having been raised by an esoteric, i'm technically not christian, but i usually do get influenced by surrounding environment/the entire country and become all about the "christmas spirit" during this time of the year.
right now, i've never felt less christian and into the christmas spirit in my entire life. i am assholecatbreakingshit.gif. not even the vince guaraldi trio is changing that. and that's a-okay.
