1. i wonder if myles kelly's pr team worried he'd be seen smooching and then going on roadtrips in a van with a 15/16 yo girl. he wasn't even safe once she turned 16 bc age of consent laws differ all over australia.

2. finally put my finger on why the scene where kat tells christian she'd had feelings for him for ages always sounded off to me: it's bc i assumed he already knew and was politely pretending he didn't. and that she knew that he knew and was politely pretending he didn't.

kat was NEVER (no, really, ever) subtle and christian's a player. it's hard to buy the, "i thought we were ~frenz!" excuse for obliviousness from him, tbh.

3. ollie reminds me of abigail in some scenes, poor sammy had a type.

this is even better/worse to me bc no matter how many times i rewatch, i can't really tell when christian went from "oh, she's totally my type, but annoying" about tara to "oh, she's totally my type and annoying, but I LIKE HER". that gif is from episode 12, "i think i have a ~boyfriend". (LOOK AT KAT BEING ALL HAPPY FOR HER AND ETHAN!!)

safest bet is episode 13 when he met her fam, but there are things (i assume official things, considering the quality) like this - http://www.fanpop.com/spots/dance-academy/images/12914578/title/christians-phone-images-photo - that throw me off. i'm inclined to be thrown off, tho, because if he started liking her in episode 13 and made a move in episode 14, it's too short a time. i know there was a in-universe holiday break and all, but still.
