stiil the actual worst
i think the reaction of the a:tla fandom to that episode where aang visits the northern air temple and finds the earth kingdom refugees was what sealed it for me that a:tla was the most pos fandom of all time. teen wolf/spn/sherlock who?, t b h. idc how negative a judgement this is. it was just too good a source material to have a fandom like that. in the immortal words of didier drogba: IT'S A DISGRACE. a fucking disgrace.
i remember that when i saw what teo's father had done to the place, *i* was mad. and unlike aang, who had learned to cope by the end, i STAYED mad. years and years later - STILL MAD.
shitting on the kid getting in the way of your made up, unsubstantiated otp >>> empathizing with a genocide survivor being angry at the destruction of what little was left of his culture.
