not dead, jut really damn late to the party
doctor who & spoilers for the originals 2x05
cutes! (and "clara, i'm terribly sorry, but i'm exactly what you deserve." SO GOOD!)
i understand that a big part of why i didn't care for dark water was that this episode wasn't FOR me, the person watching bc ~actor crush~. it was for actual doctor who fans.
omg they killed danny! cybermen! yandere mary poppins is the master!
yeah, whatever.
the volcano scene was fab because JENNA COLEMAN CAN ACT HER ASS OFF AND NEEDS TO LAND BETTER GIGS ASAP. i'll repeat this in every doctor who post i make because it's the truth.
that said, not even jenna being good at her job could sell me on the danny is dead!!1 drama after the volcano scene. i believed clara was grief stricken, i believed she'd do what she'd planned, but it meant zero to me on an emotional level because while i love clara, i have no emotional investment in her relationship with danny pink.
all i want to know from next episode is what yandere mary poppins meant when she said she'd chosen clara well and how the doctor/clara relationship will be wrapped up. idc about the rest.
* i'd read AU fic of this episode where they go full on huis clos with the nethersphere, with seb as the valet, and clara/doctor/danny trapped in a room.
* as an organ donor and someone who intends to be cremated, i have actually thought about the 3W horror a lot before, lemme tell you. i suspect quite a lot of people have, wouldn't surprise me if there was a twilight zone episode about it.

i'm a wishy-washy flop. between this and the "don't thank me, thank elijah" preview clip i'm back on the haylijah bandwagon full force and uuuuuughhh, i'd rather not be. THIS IS A TRASH CW SHOW ABOUT VAMPIRES. there's no way i'll get any proper satisfaction from whatever it is they're setting up!
but i love them. :( i love them sfm.

Dear lord, what has happened to Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin)?
