i'm in a charles/erik mood the likes of which i haven't been in since 2011.
why was there so much xmfc-based "reluctant soulmates" au fic for them? i could never figure this out. i mean, xmfc itself is kind of a soulmates au fic and in it charles and erik relish their soulmatey-ness pretty hard at first. that's the whole tragedy.
