i can't blame them. she's the most 1d and least relatable char on the show by a considerable margin. she's also criminally self-centered, even by teenage standards (i believe kat's still her friend because she's unconsciously drawn to alt versions of her mother, there's no other explanation).
i like her, tho. i'm predisposed to. i wouldn't if this show was about anything other than ballet.
ballet is ~*magical*~ to me. i couldn't get into it when i was doing classes as a young child, but as a grown ass woman, i started fiercely romanticizing it. idek.
i'm aware ril dancers are ril ppl and all that, but i like it best as pure cliche fairytale about ethereal looking naturally gifted snowflakes.
i love kat. i love abigail. they're complex and lovely and engaging in all their relationships. they're not unicorns. tara is a unicorn. ballet needs unicorns.
my only problem with this particular unicorn is that its actress is terribadand that it doesn't love christian enough.
