i had a dream gillian anderson was on a tv show about lawyers and that david duchovny had a one episode guest appearance as her ex-husband. he was a philosophy professor (I D E K) and they didn’t divorce amicably but she was still wearing the ring for some reason and then she pays him a visit and they have this whole random discussion about notes from (the) underground in one of his classrooms and he tells her he often feels neither of them know how to be anything else and then he reaches for her hand and gently takes off her wedding ring

i keep rewatching this, david duchovny has such a hold over me, SUCH A PERFECT SCULLY IMPRESSION <3

i thought i'd watched season 7 in its entirety when it aired, but no, lots and lots of episodes i have no memory of. all of them tons better than EN AMI which i WAS unfortunate enough to watch and not fortunate enough to forget.

ignoring all mythology episodes on this rewatch, only making a brief pit stop for the kiss in the truth part 1.
