i had a dream gillian anderson was on a tv show about lawyers and that david duchovny had a one episode guest appearance as her ex-husband. he was a philosophy professor (I D E K) and they didn’t divorce amicably but she was still wearing the ring for some reason and then she pays him a visit and they have this whole random discussion about notes from (the) underground in one of his classrooms and he tells her he often feels neither of them know how to be anything else and then he reaches for her hand and gently takes off her wedding ring
